Our Story
I’m Jessica Tyler. Welcome to Our Appalachian Doodles, our family’s home-based program in Branchland, West Virginia.
A Little About Us
I’m a mom of four, and my children have grown up around our dogs. We moved from the rural Pacific Northwest to the Appalachian foothills, where our dogs have room to play and be part of daily family life.
Before our doodles, I raised AKC Golden Retrievers. My mom, sister and I have a combined 30 years of experience working in veterinary care. Our shared love of animals continues to shape the way we care for our dogs.
Our Approach
Our dogs live with us, not in kennels. They are part of everyday life with our children and the other animals in our home.
We use Puppy Culture and age-appropriate enrichment, with gentle introductions to household sounds, new experiences and early routines.
I want families to feel comfortable asking questions, before choosing a puppy and after bringing one home.
